Peroni Nastro Azzurro Showcases Italian Visionaries across the Creative Arts
An ambitious project that showcases the work and ideas of some of the biggest established names,
as well as exciting new talent from across Italy’s creative arts has been announced today by Peroni
Nastro Azzuro.
In what is the first project of its kind the premium Italian style brand has appointed an Italian
Creative Council from across the creative arts, who have been commissioned by Peroni to deliver
innovative new work. The work will be revealed in a unique immersive design experience, which will
open its doors for a month long residency at 41 Portland Place in central London in July.
Called The House of Peroni, it has been developed to celebrate and showcase the spirit of Italian
creativity - the people, their work and the ideas - that are informing the creative landscape of
tomorrow. It will provide guests with a unique space to see, touch and interact with the work and
ideas from the Creative Council, which includes the celebrated architect Andrea Morgante (Shiro
Studio) and designer Giovanni Alessi Anghini.
As well as making their own contribution, Council members have identified young Italians who
represent the new wave of Italian creativity whose work will also be featured in The House. It
includes installations from the likes of acclaimed artists Ludovica Giosci and Giacomo Lion.
A programme of daily events being hosted at The House throughout July will provide a unique
opportunity to meet with members of the Creative Council and Contributors and see the ideas and
Italian inspiration behind their work.
The Creative Council includes:
Andrea Morgante: Credited for co-designing the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, this celebrated
architect and product designer is providing work commissioned specifically to be showcased in The
House in July, as well as hosting a unique discussion around the influence of Italy on the London
skyline.
Forma Fantasma - This design duo, whose intriguing pieces meld form and function in a unique,
future-facing fashion, will be providing a unique reinterpretation of their acclaimed Botanica
collection within The House. They will also provide the rare opportunity to be immersed in the
inspiration behind their creations during an interactive talk in The House.Carlo Bernardini: The celebrated Italian artist’s futuristic light installations run through the heart of
the July residency, which will opens its doors to a specially commissioned, imposing body of
contemporary work set against the juxtaposition of the traditional Georgian townhouse interiors
seen at 41 Portland Place.
Giovanni Alessi Anghini : Alessi changed the game with their simple yet stylised home-wares, which
imbues everyday products with a profoundly simple aesthetic.
Rising star Giovanni brings
knowledge that spans generations to two workshops to be held within The House and oversees the
creation project to be revealed in July.
Piero Lissoni : The celebrated minimalist designer has become a leading figure in his field due to his
advocacy of elegantly simple ideas and brings his minimalistic approach to the creation project.
Carlo Brandelli: Also talking part in the creation project is this multi-disciplinary creative whose
modern aesthetic principles push the boundaries between fashion, art and design.
Contributors

believe that represent the new wave of Italian creativity whose work will be featured in The House
of Peroni.
The contributors include:

maximalist screen-printed and digitally created wallpaper installations. Her site specific work will
provide the inspirational backdrop to a series of immersive events and workshops within The House.
Giacomo Lion : A new-wave, thread installation artist -Giacomo Lion - is largely touted by Milanese
gallerists as the next big thing and brings his ethereal work to the July residency in the form of
geometric thread sculptures and imposing installations.

Francisco and beyond , Martino Gamper is an East London based artist who will bring his
unmistakable aesthetic to The House of Peroni creation project.
