Shashet Townhouse is a series of film screenings taking place Wednesday nights at the library. This month will bring us personal stories from Cairo. The films will be screened at 7:00 pm, followed by a conversation with the directors. The films are in Arabic, subtitled to English, and open to everyone.

My brother Mohamed lived all his days next to the Nile. And he was as sick as this highly polluted river. The film deals with the relationship to the body, tradition, religion, family, healing, and survival in a modern Egypt
