The smallest of the well recognized side fairs during the Art Basel week takes place the seventh time. In a relaxed atmosphere, 10 invited and selected galleries present over 200 contemporary artworks.
Located in the international art scene and still not lose the overview, is this possible? Just five minutes walk or 350m from the hustle and bustle fair, Art Basel, on the road to “Liste”, you can enjoy an intimate atmosphere with 400 square meters of selected works on a high level. The selection artfair is the smallest of the well recognized side fairs during the Art Basel week and takes place the seventh time from 12th-16th June 2013. In this relaxed atmosphere, we recommend our guests to stay longer, to learn more and to have more intensive exchange with the exhibitors.
The show is deliberately designed to deep the art experience and the impression. Ten personally invited and selected galleries present over 200 contemporary artworks. The selection artfair was 2007 founded in Moscow and is due on the same art exhibition. With the establishment of selection artfair launched the founders, in absence of the usual mass events, a new art fair concept with only a few galleries in smaller, more intimate spaces. We cordially invite you to take part of our liaison between the private ambiance and unique artworks and wish you an inspiring visit.
For our VIP-clients, the exhibition will start on Tuesday, June 11 at 4.00 p.m. Our pleasantly grown databank of interestes parties will again be served with an attractive VIP-package. It encloses a voucher for
the well accepted "complementary drink" at our Cafe/Bar, where seatings are arranged for in- and
outside the hall. Again we are offering our team of hostesses, customs-transport- and hanging or
placement-service. Our partner Monro fine logistics offers transport-facilities to Basel at very competitive
rates, which include all custom-formalities as well as delivery from our Store Lörrach directly to your fair location. In addition, all galleries are taking benefit from the Press-Service of our new PR-Partner and
freely available WIFI.
Furthermore, we are proud to inform you, that our location Basel Art Center after comprehensive
reconstruction- and redecoration-works has turned into a real professional Exhibition-place, active
throughout the year. 4 meter high walls, a glass entrance-portal, emergancy lighting, fire-protection and
a modern locking system is positioning Hall 33 as an attractive exhibition-location in the immediate
vicinity of the Art Basel Fair.
In an effort to improve the quality of the selection artfair we are continuing our efforts to become an
attractive niche-player in the vicinity of Art Basel. We as fair-organisers not only want to show fine art
but also act as promoters and networkers with the aim, to bring people together, to create a platform
and encourage collaboration. With outstanding art and dedicated exhibitors, we are possessing all the
components to make a visit to the exhibition attractive and to open up new business-opportunities for
the exhibitors.
