Gallery Neubacher, in collaboration with Winnipeg's nomadic 'othergallery', is ready to kick up a storm with a cutting edge collection of YWA's (Young Winnipeg Artists) It will prove to be a spectacular show of Canadian Talent.

Including the work of:

Paul Cherwick graduated in 1997 with a BFA from the University of Manitoba and his masters in 2001 from UCLA. Cherwick has exhibited both in group and solo shows in Los Angeles and New York. He is represented by Susanne Veilmetter in LA.

Patrick Coutu lives and works in Montréal. His practice is divided between photography, drawing, watercolor, site-specific intervention and sculpture. Coutu¹s work has been exhibited in numerous group shows both in France and Quebec (The Museum of Quebec).

Jake Kosciuk graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2002 with a degree in Fine Arts. Kosciuk's work has been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions including the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Plug In ICA. He lives and works in Winnipeg.

Daniel Dueck graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1997 and went on to receive his MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University in Boston in 2002. Dueck now lives and works in Boston where he teaches at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Simon Hughes graduated from The University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1996. His work ranges from watercolor, video, and installation to paintings on shag carpet. Hughes¹ work has been exhibited in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Sarah Johnson graduated from New York¹s American Academy ofDramatic Arts in 1997. Then in 2002, she graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. While still remaining active in Winnipeg's art community, Johnson is currently working on her Master's in Fine Arts (photography) at Yale University. Her work has been exhibited both in Canada and the United States.

Lynn Richardson received a BFA from the University of Manitoba in 1998 and is currently a 2005 MFA candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. Currently she is receiving the Irving and Jeannette Goodfriend Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Art and the Lila Acheson Reader's Digest Scholarship. She continues to exhibit in Canada and the US and is currently preparing for her first exhibition in Taiwan. Born in Winnipeg, Lynn is currently living and working in Austin, Texas

Dominique Rey graduated with a BFA Honors from the University of Manitoba in 1999 and later studied at the Yale Summer School program at Norfolk. Her work has been shown across Canada including solo exhibitions at Gallery One One One and the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain in Winnipeg. Rey is also a Board Member of Ace Art Inc. Jason Mclean graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, B.C. in 1997. Over the past few years, Jason McLean’s diverse practice has included drawing, sculpture, installation, sound and performance. As an illustrator, he has worked with Adbusters, Vice and Bananafish Magazine. He is also working on Design Anarchy with Adbusters, a book to be published by Thames & Hudson, as well as a book for United Bamboo in Tokyo, edited by Asianpunkboy and designed by Vito Acconci. Jason is represented in Vancouver by Tracey Lawrence Gallery.

Maclean has been living and working as both a visual artist and founding member of Group of n in Montreal since 1996. His work ranges from painting to outdoor interventions involving traffic signs. He graduated in 1996 from the University of Manitoba where he served as president of Students Without a Gallery, helping to organize such shows as Gallery and many others. Adrian Williams graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1996. An original member of the Royal Art Collective, Williams has been living and working as both artist and musician in Montréal since 1997. His work has been featured in various group exhibitions including a solo exhibition Galerie Articule in Montréal and Ask the Dust, a touring exhibition and catalog on the Royal Art Lodge.
