Current sculptural works, objects and installations, supplemented by works conceived for wall or ceiling suspension. Besides renowned, accomplished sculptors such as L.Fischer, O.H.Hajek, J.M.Neustifter, H.P.Reuter, M.Schoenholtz, Vore' and R.Wachter, young artists from Germany and neighbouring European countries have also been invited to present their works. Paintings, drawings and photography have been omitted this year in order to allow for a new and different emphasis.
The Grand Art Exhibition is being organized by the three groups of artists Münchener Secession, Neue Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft and Neue Gruppe and is under the patronage of the Bavarian Minister President.
Current sculptural works, objects and installations will be displayed on 2,000 square metres of exhibition space - supplemented by works conceived for wall or ceiling suspension.
Besides renowned, accomplished sculptors such as Lothar Fischer, Otto Herbert Hajek, Joseph Michael Neustifter, Hans Peter Reuter, Michael Schoenholtz, Voré and Rudolf Wachter, young artists from Germany and neighbouring European countries have also been invited to present their works at the Haus der Kunst. Paintings, drawings and photography, hitherto the focal points of the Grand Art Exhibition, have been omitted this year in order to allow for a new and different emphasis.
The Grand Art Exhibition 2005 is being curated by the Münchener Secession.
