Hiatus workshop
American artist Ericka Beckman has made games and their organisation the central subject of her work. Since the mid-Seventies, she has questioned the effects of games on our relationship with the world and the construction of our identities. Her film Hiatus (1999-2014), influenced by traditional animation techniques and virtual worlds, is the starting point for a 3D interactive environment. As masters of the game, teenagers are invited to intervene in the journey and destiny of the two main characters.
